The move would give the Democrats 59 seats in the senate, just one short of the 60 needed to stop Republican attempts to block legislation. Mr Specter said he would not vote along party lines for the Democrats any more he had done for the Republicans." That last part is very true, Sen. Specter was one of the Republicans I liked in Congress.
