git ready – temporarily ignoring files

So, to temporarily ignore changes in a certain file, run:

git update-index --assume-unchanged <file>

Then when you want to track changes again:

git update-index --no-assume-unchanged <file>

via git ready – temporarily ignoring files. Nice tip.
